I just purchased 2 jl 12w3v2's and theyre rated at 300 rms each. Now my question is which amp should i use to power these? i was looking at the rockford fosgate P6002 and it has the perfect amount of watts needed. Anybody have any experience with this amp? people with w3v2's, which amp do you use? thanks in advance.

that amp is brand new, so I don't think you will find many people with experinece. Word around the campfire is that they are pretty damn underrated - they do use CEA2006 ratings - whatever the hell you call them.

Apparently RF has gone back to their old roots with the new amps - at least with the power lineup.

 

If you like the subs, why not look at there amps. 94

my suggestion for 2 w3s is a nice class d amp pushing at least 800 rms

yea i wasnt too sure about the RF since people have been complaining about thier quality lately. Im not looking to spend too much on an amp, the subs already killed my wallet.

[gulp] well from my experience with jl subs they like an amp that pushes more than their rated power[/gulp]

 

Autotek 2300, would be my choice. Only around $200 on ebay.
