I'm sure. Torque numbers look off too.

That's good torque, looks like my boy is only putting down 114 lb ft of tq. could it be the dyno he was on?

YES! it is the dyno he was on. it is a dyno dynamic dynomameter. If u want to convert these #'s to dynojet numbers u want to add ~14%.

Do this and u will find the numbers are what they should be.

So it looks like 162.9 hp and 131.1 lb ft tq. Still kinda low don't you think?

I was told by a guy who owns a dyno dynamic, that it was half as that? Roughly 6-8% off from a dynojet.

just a quick little blurb out of the newest SCC. they compared various dynos and their results with a 4.0L ford ranger (picked for its low specific output). a dyno dynamics dyno spat out a number of 132HP and 169tq. three dynojets in the test put out an avg of 168.7HP and 201tq

I just had my car dyno'd on a Dyno Dynamics. I asked the tuner what (if any) correction needed to be done in order to get a "dynojet" number, and he said it was all in the calibration of the DD unit itself.

DD=a superior tuning tool. I have over 60 seperate points telling me what the torque, hp, a/f and rpm's were at. Genius machine!
