Hey, has anyone here installed their undercar neons? I think i can get it done but just thought id get an opinion before trying to run wire to my expansion slots down by my ebrake. Any special way to get to them? or just start rippin the floor out? Its a 93 LX .. thanks.

At honda-tech we promote function over fashion....fashion you might ask; well anything that doesn't add FUNCTION to your vehicle like better handling, or increased performance etc.

dont knock neon lights, ive seen dyno graphs showing a 50hp boost when they are properly installed!

Here's some common courtesy: Keep ripping the floor out. Eventually you'll fall through while driving, making the world a less ricey place for all of us.

He's taking out the floor board, so the metal will fly out when he is racing, like on F and F. Poor kid, got flamed faster than race gas. Anyways, to help this kid out, don't go through the floor board, there is great spots to go through the fire wall. I think it is too late, he already has the lights from what I gather. Good luck, and hope you have an alarm for thieves and a gun for gay bashers.

i would have guessed at least 75. haha.

heres my opinion on neons. theyre illegal, they look dumb, and they dont improve your car. so why have something illegal and pointless on your car?

Nobody's tryng to be a jerk (well, maybe), just giving you a heads up on something that WILL make you look rather well....stupid....You might think it is cool and "looks sweet at night" but in all in all it is not that attractive....

In the future when (and if) cars can fly...then yeah...I can see the point of having "undercar neons" as for now they don't really do anything except take up space

 

OK guys he got the point that we don't like neon so stop beating the dead horse.

On to your question. Yes I have put neons on BUT NOT ON MY CAR. Why do you need to run wires through the expansion slots? The only wires that need to go inside are the ones for the switch. Just wire it to your battery with a inline fuse.
