Just arrived in the mail, Cobalt GT Sport pads
Very quick delivery. My order was received on Monday and was delivered to my door on Thursday! (FL to Ontario, Canada)
I have had driving experience with stock oem pads, Endless CC-X and Hawk HP +.
Can't wait to see how these perform.

Maybe?
Plus I'll wear my Cobalt t-shirt for even more stopping power.

I love mine!!! but they do actually need to warm up just a bit I have noticed. But cold stopping is also GREAT!!!!! but when they get heated up just a bit the stopping is out of this world. There is only a SLIGHT amount of squeak and VERY VERY little dust. GREAT pad!!!
My GT sport pads squeal like a **** after my daily commute
, they dust a bit, but it's always come right off the rims with water and a little soap...but then again I did wax the rims a while back. The pads a much better than the axxis ultimate pads that I have on the car, I am very happy with the pads, I'll be buying them again when I use the entire pad.

My GT Sports only squeak a tiny tiny bit, once in a great while, on the street. Almost none at all.
I changed because I was getting tired of the constant squeaking from the Carbotech Panther Plus and the Endless CC-X which preceded them.
They do very nicely on the track, too.
So far, I'm very happy with the GT Sports on my ITR.

i gots the sports front and rear on the R - love 'em. i use the sports in the rear for street and on the track; they're getting eaten up very quickly.

So far, mine are wearing at about the same rate as the Panther Plus (450-500 track miles to a set of front pads).

Cobalt GT-Sport pads are great. I had them on my car and every time I slowed down my brakes would squeak louder then the diesel next to me. I also have the CW JDM 17inch ITR rims, so withing 2 days the rims were black.
They were well worth it, but the bad part was that they only lasted me 4 months.

For those of you that have the pads and they aren't lasting all that long...did you properly bed the pads in?
I have a commute that's pretty harsh on brakes, 20 miles of mountain roads, and they appear to have very little wear. I did properly bed the pads in with ~12 hours of "rest" on the pads before I drove them.

This has been discussed before...what are y'alls (sorry, my brother lives in Nashville) opinions on these versus Axxis Ultimates.
I was trying to compare specs but Ultimate info isn't published.

I had Ultimates before, and honestly, they gave me a lot of trouble. They were nice for the street, but dusted a lot. On the track, ugh...caught them on fire.
I now run GT-Sports in the rear and Spec B up front, and absolutely loved it this past week at Gingerman. For the street, in the summer, I keep the GT-Sports in the rear and stock pads up front. It seems to work fine. In the winter, I'll put the stock rear pads back in as well (hate changing the rears at the track because of that screw piston).
That's my opinion at least.

GT sports are really a great entry level pad for competitive driving.
I've got them on the front and back of my car, and with freshly bled brakes they feel awesome. I bedded them in really well, and they are lasting a damn long time. So far they have 2 track events (2 tracks that aren't easy on brakes either), and a few autocrosses, and plenty of street driving.
You guys that are experiencing fast wear characteristics may want to be more careful about the bedding process next time around.
As well as these hold up on track, I wouldn't mind giving the Spec VR's a try, I hear they are incredible with high temp bite.

I got my set of GT sports for the front and back but have not had time to put them on because I have not found time to bed them in yet. Will probably get a chance next weekend!

GT Sports are the pads Andie designed to replace Axiss Ultimates and make up where Ultimates weren't quite as good as he wanted.
I have GT Sports on my commuter EP3 and they do very well on the street, with a very good initial cold bite which is what you'd need on the street in an emergency.
