i'm driving a 01 civic coupe and i got this really load abnoxious knocking going on from the front right corner. i'm not sure what it can be. when i have the wheel strait and to the left it'll knock. if i turn the wheel slightly to the right it won't koweck. it's mad sensitive to the road so the slightest bump will set it off. I also took the car into a parkign lot and turend it to the extreme left and it din't knock. Same thing went for the extreme right. Does anybody have a clue to what may be the problem?.

 

Did you check your struts?

 

yea i checked my struts ...i got koni yellows and they are fine..

 

Can't remember if it's a symptom of the cv boot going. Check that.

 

cv boot going tends to be more of a clicking noise as opposed to a loud knock......in my experience atleast.

 

is ur fender well sagging at all?

 

Mine used to do that too. When I turn it would sound horrible. Even when I brake it would do it. I soon found out that it was my axle. Check that and keep us updated on it.
