Default koni shocks with ground control coilovers

My friend is selling used koni shocks (not yelows these are reds) with ground control coilovers for $300. Do you guys think it is good price or he is asking too much.
How is ride?

its worth it.
reds are pretty good shocks,
they are actually adjustable, just you have to do it with them off the car.

what rates are the GC springs?
if they are above 400 then you'll need to do this to handle that rate.

but yeh.. price is coo
gc's are 300 new alone..

course i'd still rather have the yellows..

err.. well I do, heh.

i'm not too sure about the Reds, but i got a set of the yellows with GC. asl long as you have all the parts for a correct installation then there pretty good. 300 sounds like a good deal.

Yeah, thats a good deal.

New Koni Reds are ~$85/each (GC's are ~$325). So even if the springs are in great shape, but the shocks are shot, replacing them with fresh units still puts you below the mark on just outright buying them new....so you really don't have much to loose here.
