Default Can a JB Weld hold this together?

This is where the bleeder valve for the cooling system is supposted to go.
I over tourqued it and it cracked off.
This is on my B18a.
Can it hold up? or I am SOL.

i would try and stay away from anything thats really liquidy like that bc it may contaminate the system....maybe try a putty or something.....i used this magna steel putty stuff on my radiator once just to hold it until i got a new one, and it worked well....but i dunno....thatd probably look pretty crappy though......good luck on that!

just remove the whole housing. make sure its clean and dry before you apply jb weld. then make sure the jb weld is completely dry before you install it and run coolant. should hold. but you might not be able to use the bleeder again

Yeah, JB Weld will work perfectly. I have some patching a hole in my radiator, it works great.

jb weld will not hold that together. the vibration from the motor will just break it off

You could JB Weld it temporarily but I would definately look around for a replacement from a junked motor. That's not something you want cracking again on the road.

You'll have to try to be sure, but I think it will work. I had a buddy who stripped out a spark plug hole on an old s-10 one time, and he JB-welded a new spark plug in and that is still holding after 30xxx. I donno what he is gonna do when it is time to change the plugs though
