Default EXPO 4: Drivers please vote

Please vote for your preference. Both of these options go along with the new one day format. The difference in run groups is about an extra 30-45 minutes on track.

wait, you said 70 people are signed up to drive so far, right? well 35 people per session will absolutely suck! beaverun is only 1.5 mile or so and gets crowded very easily. i'm all for more track time, but quality over quantity.

I HATE TRAINS! CHOO CHOO!

Why does this seem hard... Either way there is too many people, I would think 4 groups are necessary. Both for the different levels of the people coming and then the amount of cars per session and then is there enough instructors?

3 run groups should work: noobs, intermediate, advanced. i certainly hope i'm put in the advanced group.

if it's only 2 groups, i refuse to run with the noobs. no offense, but CHOO! CHOO!

also, i think just 2 groups will get dangerous as more adanced drivers try to pass the trains. i think 70 drivers on beaver can only safely run as 3 groups.

No, he said 54 students are signed up. That's 27 in two student run groups.

Actually I had planned to put a couple of the most advanced students in with the instructors. I was aiming for about 25 students per group just like if we had 3 groups and left it open to 75 people total. No way we could et 35 people per group.

I've done this enough not to over pack the groups guys although 54 people in 2 groups with a couple people in the instructor group. Turst me on this. Just curious if more run time was worth the difference in Refund?

Focus on the comraderie as well as the driving is one way to look at it.

Trey

I remember last year at VIR I was wornout after my 3rd run. If we get 3 runs with the 3 group setup, I think that would be good.

i prefer more track time over the refund. still, i'd rather have room on the track so i chose 3 run groups; quality over quantity. the refund has no sway over my vote (although i'll happily take the $ ).

I voted for 3 groups. Less on the track meens a safer enviroment (at least I think)

Im a track n00b and don't wan't to halter any advanced or others fun by slowing them down.

<--Who got 3 definate drivers to agree to come to Expo tonite!

I voted for the three group option - this being my first event, I think I should be lumped in with the other nOObs... Plus the refund is a good thing as well.

3 groups sounds good to me.

1) noobs, intermediates, and advanced should run in their own groups. I dont think there should be any questions about that. If there are too many of one of those groups then you can shuffle a few to the next group up assuming they have had some track time or are comfortable. 3 groups are safer and EXPO lives by the rule of safety first.

2) I definitely dont want to hold up any of the more advanced drivers (especially since Ill likely be in an LS/VTAK-R if I can actually get it together in time.

Can I goto Advance? (if there is another group for Instructors)

I just got back from Beaverun 3 weeks ago, even though my car is dirt slow, but I know the proper ways to run a safely at Beaver.

I'll get rolled, but I rather be in a lesser crowded group with less aggrevation. Being held up gets on my nerves...being rolled helps to keep my in check

Yay! The traditional "Roll-A-<insert lastname>" R-Speed attitude at its best
Roll-A-Tieman...puahahahaha

Seems like the only thing I can come close to "roll" is to have some eggrolls.

curious why people are choosing the 2 run group option? whats the reasoning behind choosing that over the 3 run group option?

Money back pays for a night and a half of the hotel. I voted for 3, since I am a noob. I only know how to autox, cause thats all I've done for 3 years. I hope that being in the noob contigent isn't going to make this gay. Like being stuck in a slow *** "train" because of the noob factor. Do noteworthy noobs get bumped to intermediate group by chance?
