Default vented discs..stock calipers

i want to upgrade my front brakes to a set of vented/xdrilled rotors. is it possible with stock calipers? or should i not even replace the rotors because the stock brakes suck?

maybe i should save more money for a whole bbk and rear disc conversion

get brembo blanks and performance pads, save you a lot of time and money replacing the pads. slotted and drilled just tear up the pads.

Why dont you go 5 lug conversion? theres bigger brakes for you and you have rear brakes too

No No No.....

1) Buy Integra Brakes (Front and Rear)
2) Get Prelude front calipers and rotors and drill the rotors to fit 4 lug
3) Get Carbotech brake pads for the front
4) Bleed brakes and fill w/ quality brake fluid

Period, that is all you should do. Its an awesome set up that doesn't cost nearly as much as the 5-lug conversion perviously mentioned and you will get exactly if not better perfomance.

i dont autox a lot, only once in awhile. i just want a setup with more bite on the streets.

lol your such a dumbass n00b. I bet youve never seen cross drilled rotors.
I dont know how many times i have to say this. If your not planning on braking hard at high speeds consistently than cross drilled and or slotted arent as much as a benefit. COOLER BRAKES ARE BETTER BRAKES PERIOD. Once your brembo blanks get really hot is when they stop performing as well while my cross drilled and slotted are still performing great.

Oh and professional race teams dont use them for looks. They actually have their purpose.

I saw first just try getting better pads and brake fluid. If you aren't satisfied with the stopping power after that then look to getting bigger brakes.

everyone i know with crossdrilled/slotted rotors onthe front have warped them. get a good set of blanks on the front and maybe crossdrilled for the back.

and btw, 5 lug conversion is gay. nothing is cooler than not being able to find wheels that fit and paying an assload of money for some cosmetic ricer mod.JDM y0!

crossdrilled / slotted rotors do give a bit more wear on your pads. i drive alot so for me i dont mind replacing them more often as long as i stop.

i did know that it cools the brakes but still i dont think that he is going to be racing anytime soon. so therefore i sugguested he just get some performance pads and better rotors. i also know that bigger brakes(bbk) cause a lose in power. more rotating mass causing the engine to have to work harder to get that extra weight moving. so dont just assume i dont know a thing about brakes because i made the most logical suggestion for HIS application.

don't be mad cause you can't afford it.

11.25" rotors doesn't seem like a ricer mod to me

ya it's not like the USDM ITR came with 5 lug wheels or anything.
You have to go to Japan to get those
