NEED HELP ASAP INSTALLING TACH IN EG!!!
it goes to the distrubutor, there are two clips on the distrubutor, on the closer one there are two wires Yellow/Black and Blue, splice into the blue one i think, there is alot of tape and i have a bad memory, also use solder.
P.S. try searching first, autometer will have the anwser, or search honda-tech.
Now all you have to figure out is which wires to clip on the back of the tach!

If I'm not mistaken it goes through the firewall into the negative terminal of the ignition coil. Otherwise it goes to the tach terminal if you have a MSD electric ignition. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Where is the ignition coil located?

first remove distributor cap so it would look like this http://www.overboost.com/pix.a...8.jpg
connect to it the negative terminal which is the blue/white wire.
here's a simple schematic http://www.overboost.com/pix.a...m.jpg

too much drama, **** the distributor..
Look near the firewall, driver side, near clutch/brake resevoirs you will see a service connector with a rubber plug covering it. tap into the blue wire running to this plug. it carries an RPM signal. i believe the plug is used by the dealership.

Believe me, it works fine. old trick anyway. Check the color of both wires (rubber connector vs. distributor), it might even be the same, i dont remember.

Yo Mario try doing what he said, I check my EJ6 and the wire from the ignition coil and the wire he's referring to is the exact same color. might actually work

theres no need to even pop the hood when doing a tach install. the blue wire behind the cluster the factory tach wire that feeds fron the dist. just use a wire tap on that wire.
