I recently swapped out my 88 dx engine with a 91 dx engine, I had to swap out the flywheel and clutch from my old engine. The new engine came with a larger newer (8 1/4") clutch than the 88's (7 7/8"). At the time I didnt have time or a way to get the old flywheel resurfaced and now I am paying for it. What I would like to do is find a way to use the newer flywheel and the pressure plate from the 91 and a larger clutch disc. I looked around and found that the 88 accord uses the larger disc and is 21t. Does anyone know if these will swap out, both are 21t???

Next problem is somthing that has been going on for a while. Sometimes when I turn the key it sounds like the fuel pump is not kicking on. When I turn the key I guess it is the main relay I hear down by the fuse box kicking on but not always the fuel pump. I can turn the key on and off a few times till I hear the fuel pump and then it will start. Does this sound like a relay or the fuel pump.

If it is the fuel pump what are some replacement ideas?? I have read about the walbro's, would the 190 be a good choice for a "stock" replacment?

Verified and working great. A 88 Accord clutch disc does work with a 88 civic tranny. Need to use a 91 flywheel and clutch plate though
