Injectors Clicking? Never heard of it before

Injectors Clicking? Never heard of it before
Recently installed a sohc zc in my brothers car, now I hear a ticking, pretty constant and pretty loud. At first I thought it was the valves but now I read that the injectors can click as well?
Its pretty loud and I can hear it best with my ear above the intake mani and at the very back of the injectors
So I dont want to adjust the valves if thats not what need to be done.
How can I stop this clicking? or make sure that its the injectors/valves

Go buy a mechanic's stethoscope and isolate the sound, yes the injectors click its very common. Some people call it the Honda tick.

Buying one of those is not really an option
What causes it though? Easy fix?
Or is it something internally thats messed. I put some fuel injector cleaner but didnt run the car yet

No way this can be normal or not toned down, its not a little tick, its pretty loud and neither of my friends with zc's have this clicking

Anyone else have any insight? Should I just go buy some injector cleaner?
Surprised I dont see more questions about it though if they commonly become loud

Injector cleaner that they sell at autozone is a waste, send them off to some where.

NO!!!!!!hearing ur injectors open/close is not normal.......
if its normal then honda fukin suckz
CHeck ur fuel pulsation damper / do u even have one installed....
should be on the left of fuel rail looking at it from the front.. a plastic looking valve

Do you even know what the fuel dampener does ? Its suppose to absorb vibrations, its not suppose to quiet the injectors. The injectors are constantly opening and closing so there is gonna be some noise. And its not just Honda that has noisy injectors other cars do to.

Well maybe I hear it loudly because I have the Invader Tri slot hood
The holes probably just make it louder because its open and not enclosed like oem right?
Just gotnna buy some fuel injector cleaner and live with it

yes it does, it also reduces the noise of the injector opening and closing.
