Fuel Problem ( i think ) Car dies randomly then starts fine within minutes?
This is a 92 Acura Integra w/B18A1 & 220k miles. Car runs strong. I have searched and come up with fuel pump or relay. Just wondering if anyone else
had any ideas.. Heres what it does
Drive the car for 20 mins or maybe an hour sometimes all day no problem at
all but once in a while the car will just either loose idel and stall and then wont start. Just cranks then usually within 5 mins starts right up and is fine for a while.
Im leaning towards fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Anyone else ever experience
this and if so what was the fix? If its the relay where is it located i would probaly
try that before the pump since its cheaper..
Thanks in Advance for any help you guys may have.

Your assessment is pretty much perfect. That sounds exactly like a problem with your fuel pump. Replace it and your problem should be gone.

Cool Im going to try the relay first since that is cheaper and easeir. And if not then i will replace the pump.

try replacing the fuel filter first since it's less expensive. My beater civic with over 200k did the same thing as your car and the fuel filter solved the problem.
