195/50 or 205/50
I recently put 205/50 Azenis on stock rims, and I dont think its bad at all. 195/55 RE010's have slightly faster turn in, but its not a very noticable difference IMO.
I would shy away from 195/50 for saftey reasons.

Don't be afraid to use 195/50R15. The difference in max. load is not that big. The weight of the ITR is well within the safety margins.
For example:
195/55R15 RE-010, max load = 1102 lbs per tire
195/50R15 S-03PP, max load = 1047 lbs per tire
The difference is only 55 lbs per tire!!!!!

Like someone said above me the "safety" issue doesn't really exsist with 195/50's unless you plan on cornering with 4 people in the car and a stuffed trunk.
195/50's will provide the sharpest response on the stock rims while also slightly raising the final drive (which is good). Not to mention they will also be lighter and cheaper.

That too but in comparison to 205/50's the 195's will fit the rim slightly better.

I actually went back to 195/50/15's from 205/50/15's and I'm much more pleased with the smaller tire. The cars feels less "bland" under hard cornering and is a bit easier to predict.

Basically like getting a free JDM final drive with your tires.

Well, that is the size that comes stock. Unless you are extremely low, i doubt it will rub.
