LSVTEC PROBLEM HELP!!!!
My bro has been breaking in his engine. He has a lsVtec in a hatch. ITs been giving problems here and their. Today we were driving his car and he decides to take it up to 8k rpm in third gear when he switched to forth the car reved up then turned off. When he tryed to start the car it would just sound like if the gas wasnt goin to the engine. Once or twice the car started then turned off right away. Has this happend to anyone before. What do u think is wrong? Please anyone who can help please do.

when you shifted gears, the engine movement may have popped that loose. i dont know where it came off. where did it come off at?? the dizzy or off the top of a plug. you need the ignition wires for your car to run

That sounds like it was the main reason the car died. It must have been touching for it to "restart" but not secure and thats why it "died" again. Whichever ignition wire came off put it back on and make sure it stays then the problem should go away.

The engine is a b16a2 head, b18a1 block with b16 pistons and gsr rods. GSR tranny. Chipped computer to redline at 9 k. Spoon flywheel. ACT clutch.
EDIT: it came out from my dizzy

yeah youre probably using a combo of old OEM mounts huh? Those are soft and flex pretty easily, when he shifted (did he power-shift?) you probably just knocked the ignition wire loose and thats why it died. Any problems since you plugged it back in?
p.s. the same thing happened to me the other day. I didnt plug in the connector to the IACV all the way and when i shifted it knocked it loose and i had to limp home.

No he didnt power shift. But if he does have old Oem mounts will this problem keep accuring? I think its the damn Wiring job looks like a damn fire hazard. Thats why I need a 98 Ex W. Harnnes https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=907773
When we put the stuff back on like the sencor on the T. Body. I turns on for like 20 mins then shuts off. Do u think anything internal was fucked up?
