Audi A6 HID retrofit... (56K)
first and foremost, thank you skafia for the beautifully written hid retrofit write up (available at http://www.skafia.com/itr/hid). without you, i would be stuck in the land of halogens....
ne ways, i bought the 2001 audi a6 hid projectors (identical to the one used in the write up by skafia) and i must say the install took a loooong time (too many hours to admit, well 7 if you really wanna know). for some reason i thought the integra headlight bracket would be plastic (which it kinda looked like in the pictures) but of course not, i had to dremmel through hard hard metal. that was easily the most painstaking part of the whole procedure.
in the end however, i was very very pleased with the outcome. so if any of you guys were contemplating going through with this, here's some pictures to tempt you.

Looks like you have some good lighting.
do you have your highbeems on, or is the light bleeding thru to them?

They may appear to be brighter but that's all relative depending on how he took the pictures. The JDM HID lights use the same projectors as S2000's and those are by far the best IMHO.
Not dissin' the Audi though!
