Default Head Unit for an I-pod

I just bought a '95 Dx hatchback and was wondering if anyone knows of a good head unit that isnt too pricey that i can plug my i-pod into.

Also what are some decent speakers for the car, i just got rid of my S-10, so im not familiar with all sizes, and companies that make good stuff for Civics.

Thanks.

if u get a head unit with aux. in, then u can get a RCA>headphone jack adapter and plug the ipod in - thats how i have my ipod rigged.

however, sound quality is that of the headphones hook up, if u want better sound, they are beginning to make high quality cables that run through the charging / transfer jack found on the bottom of the ipod

Any particular models you'd recommend? Like what's Alpine's cheapest head unit with an auxiliary input?

Know where I could get some? Are they expensive?
