Default Mugen intake w/o intake pipe - wont perform / bad deal?

Trying to save some do$h on a Mugen intake, but it's used there's no intake pipe (just the box and the horn, bolt to ITR intake pipe). I don't think that's going to perform up to snuff.

Even for a deal off list, at several hundred bucks for a stinkin intake, I think I'd rather jsut spend the extra at King and get the full unit.

What do you guys think?

They don't come with the tube that attaches the intake box to the throttle body (you need to use the stock piece with it).

Thanks. I did'nt know, and I guess the seller didn't either. So does it just come with the box and the intake horn?

Depends on WHICH version of the Mugen intake...

The newer version with the S2K type filter element bolts to the ITR intake elbow

The older version (96 spec) has an aluminum pipe which connects the K&N filter to the elbow (SEE PIC)

Hey guys, the official mugen intake is definitely CF right? Cause I got some ppl here in Oz trying to sell me the mugen intake, but they tell me it is fibre glass, not CF. So which is it?

Also it is going for $950 AU shipped to my door.

It isn't too bad. You just got to gently bend the a/c lines so that they don't rub the intake.
