Well I'll tell ya I have Hasport motor mounts and you know what.....too damn stiff! I mean great for a car that you're just gonna race and nothing else...but dude at idle my steering wheel and dash absorb all the motor vibration and whatever else is going on under that hood.....i know they are the best but just be ready for a car that sucks to be in when you are stopped.......
P.S. I love them though...good quality and looks great in the engine bay.

Hasport mount are the mounts to have. The have 3 grades of stiffness for your pleaser. street, street/strip, Race .
Stock mounts with inserts you are just covering up the problems .

How much do you want to spend? If its a daily driver, just go for inserts, if you seriously track the car, go hasport. I went the cheap route and got the inserts. >=P

if you are trying to avoid wheel hop i would get a set of Jimfab traction bars. currently in my boosted EG I have inserts and the traction bars and I get zero wheel hope on the street or on the track.

i got the ES inserts. so far, i've only put in the front 2 lower torque mounts. it killed almost all the wheelhop from my b16. the motor does shake the coins in my coinpocket tho... i heard it's best to install all 3 inserts. the rear mount is a biatch to get to tho.

I wondered bout this also as my friend's driver side mount basically imploded on itself and I figured that if it was time to change then why not upgrade? But looking at the prices from Hasport for just replacement mounts was ridiculous, I mean a swap mount kit I can understad but standard ones.......hell no. So we're either gonna go with ES or prothane in her civic or just replace the driverside with OEM. Money can be better spent somewhere else than extremely expensive and stiff standard mounts.

I had ES inserts & then swaped to Prothanes. I like the the stiffer Pros' but I'm hesitant to get the Hsports for fear of massive vibration. I only drive my R on weekends for trips so I guess it wouldn't be to bad being just a tad bit stiffer than they are now. But idle vibration can be something feirce!

the inserts work bomb for me! they are very stiff themselves...have fun putting them in, lol, oh yeahi didn;t use the ones for the rear mount and the dash still vibrates like crazy...they are a pretty good bang for your buck.

Glad to hear . I don't even notice the vibration anymore, you'll get used to it in a couple of days.
