damn splash guards
my passanger side splashguard came loose and got ripped off tonight
half of it is on the highway somewhere and the other half is melted/shredded
i zip-tied it up and it's barely keeping my air filter protected.
any idea how much these cost new? ball-park?

keep an air filter protected? psssssh, what planet are YOU from? lol
you'll probably have to go to a dealership for those.. and everything at a dealership is an arm and a leg...and an eye.... and maybe a couple of toes.. i can give my local dealer knuckleheads a call if you don't feel like it

~$75 new
I got one for $27 shipped from a salvage yard, with hardware.

He didn't say they were scraping, he said it came loose... same thing happened to me the other day, but I caught it before it was ripped off. It just burned a couple holes through it.
My car didn't have the right side fender liner when I first bought it, and let me tell you that it SUCKS not having it. I drove it over 6 months before finally getting one, and the forward edge of the door and everything under the fender got SUPER dirty. You could even see some dirt kicked up in the door sill when you opened the door.

splash guards/fender liner.. it's all the same to me.
anyways, i didnt call acura yet. my only "local" dealership is an hour and 20 mins away. local salvage yard said he would have a look on the lot and see if he had anything that was in good shape and call me back.
hope it'll cost less than $50

They are only $51 and change at http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org, just go under Front Fender. If you have a DA it's only $40. It is number 5 and 7 in this pic, you will need a clip as well, for like 23 cents.
