gsr motor swap

Default gsr motor swap

i got a 2000 si swap in my 99 ex coupe i wanna get rid of it and drop in a gsr or type r, will either of these motors swap right in or do i have to make some changes? i also got a p73 type r ecu, can i use it with either of the motors without any problems? any help would be good, im still kinda new to the whole swap thing

Either a gsr or type r will fit in with no modifications..using your tranny,your mounts,your linkage and your ecu.Your harness will even plug into it.The engine has to be obd2 though for all plugs to directly plug in.If the Type R ecu is obd2b from a '00 type r than it will plug in and work fine on either engine.
