Default Passenger side cv shaft on a CRX B16A1 engine

My passenger side drive cv shaft went out and i have no idea what shaft to put in it the factory is to short for some reason and it rips in half when i turn. I have looked at several shafts from the integra and the hf and Si series in the 89 Crx

Look on the intake manifold(if its stock) does it have 3 little stubs by the fuel injection sticker/logo? If not, its prolly a xsi teg engine.

So... if it dosent have the stubs, its a 90-91 integra axle.

If it does have the stubs, its from a sir civic, or crx. You will need custom axles. You can make these by using 89 teg axles with 90-91 teg inners. Or you can call raxles.com and order sir axles. They will know what to do.

BUT... If you rally have a b16a1(not a jdm b16a), thats a EDM model, so you will have the sir axles for sure.

UNLESS... they used a int. shaft that didnt come with the engine. Then you would have to find out what kind of shaft you have, and get the axle to match it.

Basically you want to match the axle to the shaft for proper fit (crx axles will never work on a b16a)

Im in a crazy mood, so sorry if I make no sence. Ryan

Well the top end is off of an 87 acura integra but the engine is the ZC engine b16A1. THe SI axles are too short I have also tried the Acura axles which I measured and they are too short the hf is about the closest i can find that is almost long enough. I am just stumped because i let the parts store take the old as a core and i didnt measure my ad huh....I am lost

I'm a little confused here. What engine do you have? A B16A or a ZC? If it's a ZC then you can use a 86-89 Integra axle. If it's a B16A, then odds are you can use a 90-93 Integra axle.

well the block is stamped ZC but the engine is the b16A1 engine. I have tried the 87-89 integra and crx it wont work I am going to look at the 90-91. the stock crx axle fits its just to short and pulls the bearings out when i turn
