Default Need help wiring techmeter???

Who in here knows how to wire the techmeter (RPM) on to the distributor… I have a 2000 prelude DOHC VTEC… please help…

I have a JDM Motor… and it’s an internal coil… There’s only one plug to the distributor because it’s a obd2 … anyone know how to wire it to the JDM Distributor…

The only connection you have to make to the engine harness is to wire the tach signal wire(probably green) from the tach(assuming aftermarket)to the coil negative,on my 4th gen, the coil negative is blue, I think the wire is the same color on your car, but i'm not sure

you need a switched power (ignition, or something liek that) ground, and the other wire goes to either blue or green wire...on the 4th gen its blue...not sure bout 5th
