h22 hatch kills new cat
so i had a high flow cat installed about a month ago. i didn't know it at the time, but the upper bearing on my dizzy broke and caused my rotor to melt. Drove the car (barely) like this for about 12 miles (the ride home). Finally put on a new dizzy and drove it home. Noticed on the way home that my cat was making a rattling sound. Drove it like that for a while longer (about a week) until I had time to check it out. Sure enough, broken cat. TOtal miles on it: 120
Car: 93 jdm h22 in 92 hatch. Walbro 190lph fuel pump (no fpr), generic short ram intake, new spark plugs (installed with the new dizzy), jdm p13 ecu throwing codes 12, 20, 36.
Could the bad dizzy have ruined my cat? Because when I would start it with the melted rotor, a lot of **** would come out of my exhaust. One guy I talked to said it might be my o2 sensor but no CEL for that. TIA.

Sounds about right, I had my JDM Dizzy die after a month and had to replace it. I recommend Distributor King. They were awesome for me and had a great price.
