How to fix the bog when JUN3s engage VTEC ???
When I hit VTEC with my JUN3s I experience a bog in the engine which is very irritating .. If I accelerate smoothly into VTEC its a real pain because the car will bog like crazy.. If I go to VTEC on the hammer, I can still feel the bog from about 5800RPM to 6400RPM ... Is there a way to fix this ?? Am I the only one with this problem ?? PLEASE HELP !!
The setup is:
* 2001 ITR
-Ported/polished/mildly milled head with chambers oval-reshaped 255psi across the board.
-JUN3s
-JUN retainers
-JUN springs
-AEM cam gears 0,0
-AEM FPR at OEM setting
-16 degrees timing
-IceBox intake
-JDM 4-1 header
-Greddy EVO2
-2.5" test pipe
There are a few other mods like AEM pulleys, Hondata IM gasket, etc...

Raising the VTEC makes a LOT of sense.. When the car goes to VTEC I can still feel it making plenty of power and torque on the non-VTEC lobes ..
I will be using a JUN P73 ECU and possibly a VAFC for fine tuning .. Depending on how it works out, I might go to a better fuel management system but funds are a little low right now
Does anyone know the VTEC engagement point of the JUN P73 ECU ??

Funds are tight, and you're purchasing a JUN ECU? You'd save money and achieve much better results with a tunable system.

Not purchasing the JUN ECU .. I already had that and the VAFC before I had the JUN3s .. I got some excellent deals on the parts and bought them before I realized I could probably do better with a Hondata or something like that ...
I hear you ... I just want to see how far I can go with this setup .. I don't want to spend my weekends messing with the car, so if I can see 200whp with this setup I'll be happy .. I know its not unrealistic as long as the tuning is done right ...

I was just about to recommend this. Selling that ECU would cover almost all the costs of going uberdata/chipper and maybe even some dyno time.

Not to mention the payoff in power and drivability once it's been correctly tuned.
