dsm injectors (450cc) replacing stock (240cc) with only a vafc.....
I'm trying to test my injector install before I burn a chip for them.
I have dsm 450cc injectors with 10W/10ohm resistors wired in.
Say I'd like to run the car with JUST a vafc to see if they work right. I want to make sure I've done everything correctly.
I've done the math, and it appears that if stock injectors are at 0 correction on a vafc, then 450cc injectors at -47% to -46% would output 238.5cc and 243cc respectively. (The maximum that a vafc can remove fuel wise is -50%.) This won't give me a lot of room to play with should I need to run much leaner...
Thoughts?
Please remember that this is just a test. I will start it up and drive the car around to make sure it's working ok. I have hondata s200 for once I get to the dyno for positive manifold pressure tuning.....

Quite. Hondata rocks. A bit of a pain to setup the first time, but worth it (or just buy someone elses program to use as a baseline). I take it you have, or have access to, a lambda meter? Very good, almost necessary tool.

I take it nobody has tried it?
I guess I'll do it and let you guys know how it fares.....
