AEM CAI ON 04 EP
The filter drops into the left hand side of your front bumper. It's directly behind and just below the orange driving light on the bumper. After coming off the throttle body it drops below the battery and comes out through a hole in the fender liner you have to cut. Then it moves forward into the bumper where it's mounted to the chassis with a rubber mount.
If you stand at the front of the car and look into the lower grill, you can see the tip the filter at the far right. I meant to post pictures but I can't seem to get them to work.

Don,t worry about the pic, your description was excellent. Did you have any problems with the install? Do you have the OEM fogs? If not does it look like theres room for both?
You will have room for OEM foglights.
I installed aem cai last week and its great compare to SRI.
Make sure intake tube doesn't touch the clutch cable.
When you installl the intake.
Put it in gear either 3rd or 5th.
I found that it is ALOT easier if you remove front bumper.
Which is really easy to do.
