Thanks guys
Mine are painted with black BBQ paint. I keep it around for all misc black paint jobs, 1200degree = usefull everywhere.
I don't care much for asthetics, more about performance so I just roughed them up with sand paper, cleaned them off and then sprayed a thin spotty coat, let it get sticky then spray a wet coat. Avoid over spraying, it'll run.
Every 9months or so just.... Rinse/Sand/Repeat

I did mine with regular Fast dry trim paint from PEP Boys.Dries to a hard finish in like 5 min.It dried to like a satin finish which I left alone.Holds up pretty well,no scratchs yet.Good luck.

I really wouldn't use this.We have it at Sherwin Williams.
And have got a bunch of complaints about it peeling after a couple of weeks.
Its up to you though.
