Saw a 2003 ITR today, the first one i've seen on the road.

Looked absolutely mint. Has anyone on here got one?

Guy in the DC5 forum does..... of course he is stationed in japan.

there is one here in seatto in blue... same place has two RHD DC2Rs and another USDM DC2 shell

I'm not stationed here any longer. I choose to live here now. I know what you meant though.

They cost £20,000 ($36500) in the UK? Damn that is high. Does that include the VAT charges and everything. And is that brand new or still second-hand?

 

That exhaust looks sick!!! Anyone know what it is?

nice type r's. in the first pic i see more of the yellow type r and the chick that is takin the pics.lol

 

I wish I could say I saw one today .I don't think honda is ever bring over the new R's into the states.

haha yeah whoops, my bad. i guess a polarizing filter can only do so much. i'll grab more in 2 weeks, going out to the track with all of those on july 8th :D i have the same seats but in red in my dctoo

When I was in england last march, I was in manchester and shrewsbury and I saw many ITR's and it seemed like Civic Type R's were def. the norm. They are all beautiful machines

I wish they did....I'd definitely buy one! I do highly doubt they will bring it. The marketing would just throw everything off at Honda. How much would they really sell it for here in the US? $25,000 or $26,000? It can't be too high cause you can probably just opt to get an Evo for a couple grand more and get 270 HP. Back to the drawing boards for Honda...

honda wont bring r's here cuz the general public doesnt appreciate them for what they are.

They dont sell the DC5 here, Im pretty sure there only available by import. At the Honda dealership round the corner from me they have one that is set up for the track its a tasty lil machine. I saw one on autotrader that was £14000 (2 years old) with mods. more money than i have though. i think they start to pop up lots, which is nice.

 

Went to the Honda garage the other week and they guy didn't know if and when the DC5 would be released in the UK.

I think Honda should have released it as a limited edition..
