Default Anyone running CTR pistons in their ITR.

Can you safely run JDM CTR pistons in a B18C5 without detination and any valve clearance problems?

More like 12:1:1

I would watch your *** running that high compression on pump gas. I am sure you would have to get a reprogrammed ECU or PowerFC to run it safely.

definately well in the 12's neighborhood from what i have heard you can run this safely with a FPR, i.e SX, Paxton, get yourself a FPR, and it should be fine.. crank up the FRP little more, and you might need to retard the timing.. getting an aftermarket ECU would be a plus but that can get costly.. if you are going to get aftermarket cams you might want to look into getting one to achieve their full potential. If i decide to build my motor i'm pretty sure i'm getting i'll be getting those pistons as well as a part of my build up.

getting an aftermarket ecu is a must. putting ctr's in your car is a worth while thing to do.
