Well, a GSR is only rated at 15.5 1/4 mile and 7.1 sec 0-60 mph. Only 1/2 sec quicker with all that VTEC goodies and higher compression.

there are lots of people on this board who run sub 15. around 14.8/14.9 with only intake and exhaust.. you should try and find those goobers.. great drivers. all this thread is going to do is start another integra war between ls and gsr owners...
The rated times are for straight off the dealer lot, with no mods. As soon as you start bolting on performance engine parts, suspension, and tires, you can't use the times since now the vehicle is changed.
You should be able to do the rated times, given enough practice, and do better after modifying the car. How much better depends on the parts you use. If you can't understand this, just give up!

That won't happen. Everyone knows the GS-R is better.

i payed 4500 for my ls with a new engine that has 20k on it.With intake, header, cat, exhaust.I was able too beat a gsr bye 2 cars too 100.I think the ls for the dollar/power ratio is excellent.I would not say the gsr is better because it would have been about 3k more for a gsr in the shape i got my ls for.

Im not saying the ls or gsr is better then either. If you are comparing the power too dollar ratio then the ls is a better deal.If comparing just power then the gsr is.I was just shocked between the two and how small the difference was when drag racing.I thought it would be much better because of all the vtec hype.

Elevation and Driver skill will make the biggest difference.

Bolt ons, is generally a Low 16 in some cases high 15's.
