The b18C vs b18c5
I'm not sure of that, there is a difference between the standard of JDM/EUDM and USDM power calcul.
Look, the EUDM engine (B18C6) have JDM compression, JDM final Drive, 240 degrees and 11.5mm valve lift intake cam. It also have the USDM header (****). And this engine produce only 190 HP (at crank) Standard ISO with unleaded 98 octane.
The USDM engine with lower comp (10.6:1 vs 11.1:1) produce 195 HP SAE with 93 Octane. (or 91 i don't know).
The JDM engine with the stainless 4-1 header produce 200 HP.
Find the error, i'm sur a B18C5 USDM engine with the European ISO power calcul will produce only 180 or 185 HP.

The B18C6 has an even shittier header than the B18C5. It's done that way to meet the emission requirements in Europe. Japan use a different correction factor for HP.
The JDM B18C makes 200 HP (JIS or something). B18C6 with JDM 4-1 header will make the same power.
There are a lot of small differences between these 3 versions. Some sensors are different and/or injectors, ECU etc.

Of course it's possible with individual engines. We are talking about factory specs. Even with the factory specs it's difficult to compare the numbers, because of the different norms/correction factor.

So what you are saying is with a much better exhaust manifold and higher compression, the JDM B18C is only better than the B18C5 by 2 horsepower?
*taking higher compression pistons and 4-1 header with 2.5" collector off my list of parts to buy*

You cannot compare these numbers with each other without knowing the conversion factor. I cannot find the conversion factor on the net for these standards.
