cranking but no start.... zero fuel pressure.
This morning I moved my car out of the driveway so my mom could leave for work. I went in house for 4 hours, and came back out to leave for work. Started the car no problem, reversed 5 feet and it stalls out. Zero fuel pressure. & zero oil pressure, i think. When i turn the key to the accessory position, no priming of fuel pump. where should i start looking for the problem. i looked quickly for fuses, but didn't find a specific one. i'm going to check my helms tomorrow morning, but just wanted to hear some quick suggestions as what to check so i don't go crazy.
For the record, i installed a brand new Walbro 255HP fuel pump this past january and everything was working fine up til this afternoon. Last night i repeatedly used the nitrous, but drove the car home running regularly. Other fuel system components are Golden Eagle fuel rail, Aeromotive FPR, and i have both digital and mechanical fuel pressure gauges tapped off of the fuel rail.
thanks for any info.

how exactly do i check the main relay...i'm not good with electronics. check what? to see if it has power? volt meter it?
oh yeah....car ran excellent until it instantly cut out.
since there wasn't an in-between shitty running period, i would assume its electronic.
is there an actual main relay fuse, like in the fuse box?

not the problem his fuel is not priming so the ignition is not sending a signal or his fuel relay (which is part of the PGMFI relay) is not working

i'd like to check that before i replace the main relay, (which is the fuel relay you're referring to right?)</TD></TR></TABLE>

typically if youa re not getting your fuel pump to prime and the engien does crank over then the problem is the main relay which is typically straight up inside teh dash above teh fuse box, with a gray casing and a brown plug. i have had to replace 2-3 of them recently for people for the exact symptoms you are having though they were able to at least crank the car over (nto sure if you can or not). ]
anyway that artile linked to above is great...

Heres my PGM-FI main relay write up:

Also to get your car started for now...reach down there and tap/hit on the relay.

I checked the fuel pump, and the main relay. then i checked the ecu fuse and that was it. kinda weird b/c i've pulled that fuse in the past as a security measure, and i thought i remembered it not allowing the engine to crank. but this time the engine cranked and had spark, just no fuel or oil pressure.
o well...nice and cheap fix!
