but aren't the spoon hood just for pure weight reduction?

I want a hood that has a flawless weave and is really strong, I thought spoon was light as hell but a bit fragile?

Friend has a VIS and fitment is good as well as the look of it.

 

my VIS didnt fit so good...sorta blows ....gettin the duckbill tomarrow hope it fits aight.
