I was driving today, heard a sound and smoke started coming from my hood. Come to find out the Idler pully off the A/C assemply totally fell off and knocked the other belts off. Now, I reinstalled it and it did it again, and finally my question " does this thing supposed to turn, or just guide the belt". I'm thinking its fixed just by the setup, but I wanna be sure. Thanks for your time.

Thanks Sackdz, I didnt even know if there was a bearing, what it looks like, or anything. Could have fallen off when the pully came off... Would anyone have a picture of it, or even a breakdown of how the pulley is re-installed? Thanks again

Damn dood.........my a/c pulley fell off just last weekend, but thankfully didnt harm any of the other belts. I lucked out something fierce .
