DA automatic seatbelts and bucket seats (searched)

I plan on putting a driver's bucket seat in my DA, but I do not plan on getting a roll cage so harnesses might not be an option. What have fellow DA owners with bucket seats done as far as seatbelts are concerned? Have you found a way to mount the automatic seatbelt mechanism to a race seat? Or has anyone tried to put 88-91 Civic seatbelts in their DA's? TIA.

yeah...I'm aware of harness bars and guide bars, but they have nothing to do with my question...I was looking into a B-pillar guide bar that makes the angle of the harnesses go over your shoulder, but these provide no rollover protection. I'm looking for a way to retain the stock auto-seatbelts while using a bucket seat.
well u can buy racing seats and also buy the 5 lock seat belts u can attach or weld to the bolts on the racing seats and still use the lower seat belt the da come with that nobody uses....hope this helps

There are a few members on g2ic that use the stock auto seatbelts with buckets. They say the only problem is that the seatbelts rub the seat hardcore, otherwise they are fine. Where there is a will there is a way.
Try to find CDN or JDM manual belts if you can.

The people that use the stock auto belts with buckets seats probably took off the belt assembly and modified the new rails so that they could bolt it up. Either they bolted it up or somehow welded the assembly to the new rails. I was thinking about getting bucket seats and using the stock belts, but i havent taken out the stock seats to see how everything is mounted up yet. Sorry i couldnt help more, i probably stated the obvious lol
