I'm sorry if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find it on a search.

I need to know what rpm a stock D16A6 bottom end can handle. Assume that the top end can handle UNLIMITED revs.

This is for an experimental head that the company I work for is coming up with. I can't give details just yet, but I'll post them when the pattent comes through. We are doing a direct swap with a dead stock D16A6 and we need to know what we can take a stock bottom end to.

Why don't you just rev the **** out of a D16A6 and find out?
