Default 1997 Integra Type-R

1997 Integra Type-R for sale. Championship White with 50,000 miles on it. Ingen short ram intake, Apex N1 cat-back exhaust, and Mugen shift ****. #162 of 318. Body is in great condition. It has a new clutch and flywheel from Acura. Asking $15,000 o.b.o. Call 224-629-6255 for any questions or if you are in the area and want to look at it. Need to sell before summer.

No problems with the car. It was in storage during the winter. It's been in storage for the last 2 years.

I've heard from good sources and some car collector books that there were only 318.

But my USDM is #371, it's a 1997....I guess Acura mess around with the #??

The badge number of an R has no relation to it's production number. My R is #357

"For 1997 there were 318, and for 1998 they were 1,023 Type-R Integras sold in the United Stats."

True. The ITRCA registry helps too. You can see #511 in there.

A little over 500 1997 ITRs were shipped to USA and Canada. ~318 to the USA and ~200 to Canada. All Canadian '97s are numbered higher than #320 if I remember correctly.

Whenever I look up info for JDM itr's all they have info for is 96' and 98'. Was there no 97' itr's in Japan or am I just crazy. The pics are coming, I am scanning pictures of it as we speak.

There were 97 ITRs but they were 96 spec. 98 spec includes 99. And 00 spec was the last year before going to the DC5s in 01. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to get my info straight.

did they really make a 00 spec? i'm not sure about that

I hope someone in ILL can the R 97R #162 has been the closest number too my 97R #160
