Default H&R sports for 99 civic fit on my gsr?

As the subject says. Are H&R Sports from a 99 Civic coupe compatible with my 97 Integra gsr? Almost? or not at all?

My friend's parting out his car and I can get his set real cheap, will they fit? (PLEEEZ FIT!)

yes they will fit...

don't quote me on this tho, but i think the civic's spring rates are slightly lower than the integras... and we all know how shitty the spring rates are on the integra springs for integras.... so be prepared for a sloppy but slammed suspension

so... they fit but i'm liable to scrape on speed bumps? But if the spring rates were that bad wouldn't civics scrape too?

Can anyone else confirm?

No, because civics are lighter than tegs.

exactly.

my intega has HRs on it and i selected those jsut because i don't race my car around on the streets, however they have a close spring rate to the ITR so it still handles better than my stock LS suspension.

but i would never throw on lowering springs that had only a slight increase in spring rate over the stock LS ones.

your ride will be smooth and you'll like it, but your handeling will be ****.

but it'll still be a little stiffer than my current stock gsr's rates right? So...no harm done? I'm thinking I'd be getting'em pretty cheap, so I might take'em just for the temporary drop.

They're not so mushy I'd be scraping all over right?

Spring rates for a GSR are like 212 Front and 226 Rear

If the springs are for a Civic EX the front of your Teg will be extremely low.

I have Stock 00 Civic Si springs I was thinking of putting on my teg, but decided against it. They might give me a 1/4 drop but the suspension would be really bouncey and non responsive. The Integra GSR suspension is really stiff compared to a civic...Even a Civic Si with a B16 and relatively the same weight as an Integra.

they might be a LITTLE bit stiffer, but you're forgetting they drop your ride height about 2" or more. your shocks are going to get beat on more than a red headed step child
