I'd be kind of weary spending 150$ for a set of mounts i've never heard of. Especially with something like an H22A which needs near perfect mounts to line up axles and clear the hood and whatnot.

WOW... $150 sounds right for mounts... where do you get your mounts I'd like to know!

Edit:

I'll vouch for those guys though. Nice guys, fast shipment, and good tech advice. Just give them a call and ask about warranty etc if you are worried. They're pretty cool in my book....

well some of us don't come from the over priced honda market, i could buy a mount kit to put a big block v-8 in a 6 cylinders place for an old school mopar for 129, or a mount kit to put a 2.4 liter moter into a neon for 164, how much so you think they cost to make 20 bucks tops, for all of you who say it pays for r and d, well any custom shop can make mounts so people like hcp and hasport pocket like 500 on every set they sell, so yeah 150 sounds right

I've never used them. But like I said I'll vouch for that shop... Bought some stuff from them and they are legit as far as I'm concern... But then again they will be going onto a H22... its not comparable to V8 torque but enough torque to do some damage in a civic chasis. I say try them out and if they suck ***** throw them back onto ebay!

Im doing my h22 in eg swap next week. I went with the HCP mounts from newman here on HT. Never even heard of these before. If you do use them update this post so we all know Remember you get what you pay for though. I honestly would not use these unless one of my friends had already tried them out

I've seen those mounts IN PERSON and installed on a car.... those are straight up knock off of the HCP EG-22 mounts, and HCP uses a billet aluminum driver side piece. Just so that they can copy it, they used a huge block of steel in place (very heavy and very unnecessary, and their holes are also ****-eyed). But there are also some flaws with the mounts such as the rear mount..... I've actually seen somebody with these same mounts in the car and the motor is NOT STRAIGHT mainly due to the rear mount. Also, the way the rear mount is designed, it touches the rear tranny bracket which is going to give LOTS OF VIBRATION. Also, if you look close, the tranny mount is off and with the excess room on the back side of it, it will touch the framerail, thus more vibration. Just another company who's now trying to jump into the market with a blantant knockoff mount kit that has not been through R&D.

IMO, if you want quality, stick with either HCP or Hasport because both have put their mounts through extensive R&D so they know what works and what doesn't, and know what particular setups will can and can't work. But if you want to save a few bucks here or there and sacrafice the install/fitment of the motor, then nobody is holding you back from doing so.

Here is a pic of the real HCP mounts.....

Here are the Egay Yonaka (another Canadian company out of Ontario.... home of the knockoff mount kits) mounts

Funny how it says "powercoated in a black with silver metallic finish" Looks more like the pieces have been welded together, not deburred & polished, and then spray painted over

I have seen those in person, they look like **** the motor is so close to the fire wall if you bang gears and the motor rocks (and it will with these P.O.S mounts) it will hit the brake line (hard line) a guy i know has some and they are not good. save money buy a quality mount the best is the HA sport looks clean too. also they bust axles on his car all the time. the guy i know with a local shop here has HA sport kit and has never broke an axle.
