I bought some GSR wheels from Jerial Quintana of West Palm Beach. He said he shipped them UPS last Thursday (11/8). As of yesterday (11/15) I had not received the wheels. I am becoming a little concerned about a possible rip off. I may be jumping the gun so I wanted to see if anyone here had dealt with him. I payed via paypal and used a credit card so there may be some recourse there. I aked for tracking numbers and he says he forgot to get the numbers. Anyway any info would be great.

I don't know that guy, but I do KNOW that every mailing places gives you a tracking number. Anything that gets sent via UPS or FedEx always has tracking number, IF he didn't get the tracking number for any reason, tell him to call up the place that he went to ship the GSR wheels and ask them for a tracking number on the package he sent out. They should have a copy of his receipt and tracking number. UPS Ground takes about a week depending on location, but usually its about a week. I know this because I work at a mailing center and deal with UPS and FedEx all the time.

give the guy a call ... see if he's nervous ... people are usualy trustworthy. So give him a call this weekend and make sure he exists and stuff .. if he does ... then wait a couple more days for your package...

the mail is slow these days with all this anthrax stuff ...

it took me 3 weeks to get a package out to cali...

 

i am now feeling pretty confident that I got ripped off. I have contacted both paypal and my credit card. The credit card seems a little more eager that paypal to resolve the issue. If anyone else knows this clown let me know. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

The only thing suspicious about this deal is the tracking #. It takes like 4 days for anything to clear on paypal, so that explains a little of the delay. Also, when shipping rims or anything heavy and large, he probably shipped it w/ the slowest service so it's less expensive. Some larger things take like 2 weeks, so I don't know what you should do.
