Default can my b series swap have to long of axles? becaus my wheels wont roll.....

so i thought my tranny was fucked up since i couldnt get it into netraul and get it to roll on flat ground, so i started taking off the hub assemblies becaus i was going to pull the tranny and needed the axles out.....

well i pulled the pass side off first, then the drvier side, then i realized the axles turn now! i thought the driver side hub just froze but i could turn it when it was off the car,,

so is it possible i have to long of axles? i dont know what they are from but i belive they use the midshaft with a vagina

Sounds like they might be ABS axles with the ABS ring around them.

I tried putting 92~95 D series axles on a 88~91 D series car. It didn't fit - ABS axle was too fat and locked into the actual knuckle.

ya i took out the dust covers, there were 3 screws holding them on(they didnt just pop out like your guys)

i dont know what the axles came from but they have a male midshaft,

im supposedly getting some axles this weekend that bolt right up to my d series hub,

it really sounds like i have the abs axles i guess, like 4dr ef said

if your axles happen to have an ABS ring, remove it if they don't look for a rubber seal at the end of each axle right at the base of the splines. if you do not remove that rubber piece, your axles will bind! hopefully this helps you out!
