which head is better for ls/vtec b16a1 or b18c1

i have both they both have camgears but the b16 has type r valves which one would i get more power out of owe the block haas ctr pistons

This one has been covered manyyyyy times...

THe B18c1 has a smaller combustion chamber than the B16A, so therefore yeilds a slighty higher compression ratio. If you are planning to go All Motor, then go B18C1, if you plan on FI go B16a.

As goes for the flowing factors between the two heads, they are almost identical. The B18C flows slightly better low/mid range, and the B16A flows slightly better in the higher rpms.
