Default Weird vacuum problem in head

Just installed turbo pistons, rods etc. Now it has a lot, 10-15 PSI vaccum coming from the valve cover gasket when runnning at idle. It is sucking through the valve cover breather. Anyone ever heard of this? Did I install a vacuum line wrong? What could cause that much vacuum in the valve cover? Thanks.

uhm. . that valve cover "breather" is an air inlet for the PCV system.

Um im Pretty sure the motor should be pushing air out frome that hole. But really i dont see a problem only because you system works better. You dont have positive crankcase pressure, you have negative crankcase pressure. I dont see how that can be bad because the Pcv system only releaves that pressure. If you dont have it then you should be fine.

Also did you check it once the motor is spinning faster sometimes they can be positive at idle but once you rev it some, They start making some vacuum.

Hope that made sense to ya.

no its an air inlet.. the outlet goes thru the PCV valve into the intake manifold.

O Dam your right. OK well next thought like i said theres not that much pressure at idle so the PCV system is just pulling more air. But basically you should a positive pressure at some point while going threw the revs. the Pcv system works good but they dont keep up very good at high RPM's. Basically everything is fine like i said it just means its workin very good at idle.

Ok let me clear up my Contridiction Very high RPMS you should have a slight positive pressure. Low RPM's its fine to have alot of negative pressure. Just ignore My first post, I was confused and thinkin the system basically works backwords.
