I recently talked to hybrid racing and they said they were coming out with a mount kit very soon but i dont know how soon that will be so if anybody knows any other companys producing these kits hit me up

 

Everything is custom at this point, there are quite a few K series EF's running around. A few company's are in the process or r+d for the mounts, most of which should be out soon.

 

I wouldn't hold my breath for that 88-91 kit to come out...

 

You will have two choices with that swap; bad ground clearance or custom hood. One of them will have to be chosen.

It seems that this swap will have to be about compromises.

 

The swap is perfect for my drag car though.Hood clearance isnt a problem,ive got a sinsei 1 piece front end,and ground clearnace isnt a problem,because since the engine sits at the axles center line,the engine can sit as low as i need it to without tripping the staging beams.For a street car youre gonna have to either cut a hole in your hood or run an aftermarket hood.Everything is custom until companies come out with mount kits.From what ive heard its going to be a few months.
