i have an 01 honda accord V6...i just ordered the GUDE performance racing package: PORTED POLISHED HEAD WITH RACING VALVE GRIND AND HIGH COMPRESSION CHAMBERS, BIG BORE THROTTLE BODIE, BULLFROG / STINGER RACE CAMS and FLOW PORTED INTAKE MANIFOLD..and plan on installing a Comptech supercharger very soon....i wanted to do the pistons but i dont know very much about engines, i just got into the import scene but dont want to buy the wrong stuff nor do i want to hurt my engine...what brand should i look for??..brand??...will it give me more ponies??...how much money will i be looking at ??

 

You don't need to do pistons especially since they would probably have to be custom and would be very expensive. Plus it was probably bad to order a cam regrind if you are going with the S/C unless it was a regrind made for forced induction.

Dude I looked on the Gude website and did not see anything for the V6 accords so I don't know where you found that stuff but I hope you did not order everything for a 4cyl car. lol

yo!!...yes, it is for the J30...i called in today, just to reasure myself...and its 45-50 wheel horse power...they also have the same package for the S2000...i just ordered one for my brother...but it only makes 35 hp...since the engine is beefed up as is...there really isnt any more room for improvement....

 

Has anyone with gude package ever dynoed the car? i wanna see what gains you really get.

Gude shaves the head to raise the compression; that's where you get the extra ponies.

High Compression + Supercharger = BOOM!
