Brighter Headlights
Just thought I'd share. I've always HATED the 9006 stock bulbs on my Teg, see maybe what ?? 8 feet down the road at night ? Found a cool DIY, I got some 9005 Sylvania Sylverstars, heated up a screwdriver, melted the 2 little grooves in the headlight socket, used some sidecutters, snipped a little off the top tab that grips when you turn the light into the socket (so the light assembly will actually fit in the receptical) and voila !! WAYYYY brighter and shoot further down the road without blinding people. I was skeptical at first but man what a difference. HIGHLY recommended!

I wonder if after the retro fit you can just attach you high beams to the lowbeams socket another words, Put you high beam assembly in your low beam socket so when you turn on your high beams its really your lowbeams. Wouldn't this wear out the bulbs faster? I dunno just thought i'd throw this idea out there.
