Default 225K On A 92 H23A1

I need some advice on what i should do with my engine. Its nearing its end, if it hasnt already, and i need to know what the best thing would be for me to do. Im looking into a rebuild kit to take the miles off the engine but i also want to do a H22A1 swap. Or should i just give up on it all together and start looking into another car, which is what im about to do. Plus the cars got all sorts of other problems so its very annoying. all help is greatly appreciated.

Personally, I'd look at how much you'd spend on rebuild/swap plus the other problems you speak of versus the cost of a new(er) car and decide where your money would be best spent.

If it were me, I'd probably hold out for a 93-95 vtec in good shape

I bougth my car for a low price (had 156K miles on it) and it had ALL the records. I went in this purchase already planning on rebuilding the car. I wanted to make the car capable on the track. Now that it is almost done and looking at the total $$ amount I spent on it, I am VERY pleased with the outcome.

It really all depends on your plans for the car.

I guess it depends on how much you like the car.
how is the body, been in any wrecks?

If it was me i'd keep the car, save up for a swap.
then spray the $hit out of that motor till it blows.

don't do that... it's always good to have an insurance motor available.
