need clutch help fast

I'm out of town and I think my clutch cable is messed up. The car is acting like the clutch isn't engaging. I'm guessing I should tighten the clutch cable up. Do I tighten it inside by the clutch pedal? And other suggestions would be great, the car wont even go into gear when the car is on. Thanks.

Usually clutch cable is adj. at the pedal

BTW how much play at the pedal?

The play is fine that's why im confused. Probly about 1/2 in.

4th and 5th Gens don't have clutch cables. Ours are hydraulic

Yeah, it is a lude. It is a 92 si. It feels like the clutch is ingaded all the time. The pedal really doesnt even do anything. Im not sure what happen i was drving on the highway and went to down shift and it wouldnt go into gear. Any suggestions?
