Is getting an aftermarket clutch really worth it on a d series motor??

 

all depends on what you plain on doing to your motor. If you just are gonna do the regular bolt ons (I,H,E) I would just get a stock one unless you can get the aftermarket one for near the same price.

It also depends on the brand! Some brands really suck!

 

i put a centerforce stage 2 on my z6 block/y8 head and the motor responded and picked up speed alot faster than stock did but my stock clutch was gone and needed replacing.

 

sometimes you dont want to cheap out on clutches.. it will cost you in the longrun if you do...
